Sibani Lodge

Cradle of Humankind, Gauteng

Sibani Lodge is an exclusive wilderness lodge in Mt Savannah

Sibani Lodge consists of an independent entertainment area, and two cottages on the property. The two independent cottages each have their own bathrooms, king sized beds, fireplaces and lounge areas with decks that offer beautiful sunrise views. The décor and furnishings of the lodge are African inspired, creating a gentle ambience within the natural bush surroundings.

The estate also offers four luxury glamping tents positioned approximately 3km away from the main lodge.

Glamping Tents

Our Glamping Tents provide an escape from everyday stress and distractions, allowing guests to relax and reconnect with nature. The open plains of the Mt Savannah Game Reserve create the impression of being swept away to another world, where you can take your time to reconnect with your loved one and nature.

Standard and Superior Cottages

Sibani Lodge has one Standard Cottage (Impala Cottage) and one Superior Cottage (Springbok Cottage), which are adjacent to one another and positioned near enough to the main lodge, to take full advantage of the outdoor communal swimming pool, sun deck, dining room and Sibani Spa.

Luxury Cottages

Our Luxury Cottages, named Kudu and Sable are a recent addition to Sibani Lodge’s accommodation offering and surpass our other accommodation in size, quality, and vistas. Kudu and Sable Cottage are adjacent to one another and are located 75m away from the lodge, making it near enough to enjoy the communal sundeck, outdoor swimming pool, dining room and Sibani Spa at the main lodge, but far enough to ensure more privacy. Our luxury cottages are also elevated to ensure unobstructed views.

Safari Living

Our brand-new Safari Living Units were affectionately named Mrs Ples and Little Foot. These names are derived from renowned fossil discoveries in the Cradle of Humankind. The natural environment and modern architecture of the Safari Living Units are seamlessly infused, which pays testament to the fact that history and the present can effortlessly collaborate to create a spectacular product.
