No we do not.
Do your campsites have electricity?
Yes we do. All the campsites have electricity and grass.
Is there WIFI?
We do not have Wi-fi at the campsite, but do have at the reception.
What types of fish are in the river, what we use for bait?
Fish in the Breede River includes Carp, bass, barber. For bait you can use Chicken livers, bread & corn (Mielies). Please note that fishing is on a catch and release basis only.
Where are the best fishing spots?
B2 to B9 – C2 to C48
Do you have mountain bike trails, do we have any bikes for rent?
No we do not have any bikes for hire but you are welcome to bring your own. We do not have any bike trails but have plenty of dirt roads on the farm to explore.
Do you still have a fly problem as per online reviews?
At the moment it is under control, the problem is not specific to Kam’Bati but stretches all along the Breede river. We don’t have more or less flies than any other working farm in the Overberg.
What do we sell in the shop?
During season time we sell bread, milk and eggs along with all the essentials that you would need to enjoy your stay with us. We have revamped the shop and it now boasts with fresh locally sourced products.
Which campsites are on the river?
On the river bank (B1, B2, B3, B4, B6, B7, B8, B9)
Overlook the river but not on the river bank?
A1 to A5, A23, A24, B18 to B26, C2 to C48
How far are the ablutions from the campsites?
It depends on which campsite, from 5m to 300m from ablution. All depends on campsite number.
How many tents/people to a campsite?
Our campsites are standard caravan site, guest can camp with camper trailer, caravan, motorhome or Tent – We only allow 2 adults & kids per campsite (one family/site)
What do they need to bring to use the electricity points?
Blue plug & extension cord
Are the hot tubs available to everyone?
No, Hottubs are for AfriCamp guest only & for our guest in Cabin 3
How far down the river can they travel and what level of rapids can be expected?
(On own risk – when using our canoes guest must stay in the rapids, end by C48 (End of campsite)
